40 mornings, held to the count.
21 September → 13 NovemberStarts on the Fall Equinox
40 days is the count the tradition gives for changing a habit. It runs inside the 6 AM ET Sadhana, so there is no second session to find, and weekends are not counted. Join the dated round with the rest of the Tribe, or start your own at any time. We never stop.

The hour
The shape is the same every morning.
I have been sharing my own Sadhana with the Kundalini Tribe every weekday morning for the last 5 years.
You are not deciding anything at 6 AM ET. You arrive, you are told what to do, and an hour later you are somewhere else.
The mantra that opens every Kundalini practice. Three repetitions, and the room settles.
The morning prayer, recited together. You do not need to know it to be in the room for it.
Breath and movement through the spine, with my own tweak on it. My secret ingredient, and the reason the body wakes without force.
The same sequence every day. Once you learn it, you repeat it to master it.
Mantra, gong, then stillness. This is where the hour does its work.
The long Sat Nam, and the practice is sealed.
You close, you log off, and nothing has asked anything of you yet.
If 6 AM ET sounds impossible
It is, at first.
Arrive before 7 AM ET
Come in whenever you can before 7 AM ET. If you need to nap through part of Sadhana, nap. Being present is half the practice.
Week one asks the most
We are not going to pretend otherwise. By the second week most people are waking before the alarm, and by the third they are protective of the hour.
Make it easy
Sleep earlier. Lay the mat out the night before. Leave the water beside it. Decide once, at night, so there is nothing to decide at dawn.

Questions
Before your first morning.
Do I need experience?
No. Kundalini is taught as given, and you are told what to do as you go. You do not need to know a single posture before your first morning.
What if I cannot make 6 AM ET?
Come in whenever you can before 7 AM ET, and if you need to nap through part of Sadhana, nap. Being present is half the practice. On the mornings you cannot rise at all, the Vault holds practices from three minutes upward.
Is it recorded?
No. Sadhana is practised live together, and it is never recorded. There is one Sadhana in the Vault as an example so you can see the shape of the hour, but the mornings themselves are not archived. Separately, the Vault carries over 150 kriyas, meditations, pranayama and sound for the hours outside the morning.
Can I do Sadhana online, properly?
Yes, and most of the Tribe does. You are in the room with everyone else, at the same hour, doing the same kriya. The WhatsApp Circle keeps the count with you between mornings.
Do I pay for Sadhana separately?
No. There is no separate Sadhana ticket or subscription. Become a member and the mornings are included, along with the sunset classes, Tribe Night and the Vault. Cancel anytime.
Amrit Vela
The hours before sunrise have a name.
In the Kundalini tradition this is the window when the mind has not yet started arguing. Two and a half hours before the sun rises, it sits at a sixty degree angle to the earth, and the tradition holds that prana is at its strongest and the pull of the day at its weakest. The nervous system is still soft, thought waves are fewer, and the same effort goes further than it will at any other hour. Nothing is pulling at you, nobody needs anything. It is not discipline for its own sake. It is the hour that gives the most back.
